TCB Industrial is looking to add an experienced Shop Manager to our team. This position is a dual role managing the shop tools, equipment, and fleet as well as purchasing and managing the consumables inventory for the company.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Work closely with project managers to help fulfill their required tool equipment & material needs per job.
Work closely with project managers to schedule mobilizations and demobilizations to and from jobsites
Manage tools & equipment:
• Set required calibrations dates in fishbowl
• Set required maintenance schedules in the fishbowl
• Follow up with project managers on any missing items upon demobilizations
Fleet management:
• Ensure both shop vehicles and crew member vehicles are maintained as outlined in the fleet program designed for TCB
Continually looking for cost savings on shop consumables inventory:
• Working with various suppliers to obtain best bulk pricing on high turn around items
• Maintain a cost savings analysis of the savings you obtain
Management of Shop personnel:
• Coordinating deliveries & pick-ups
• Assisting with prioritizing tasks
• Motivate & lead by example
Manage consumables inventory using the fishbowl software program:
• Customer order entry for consumables by job
• Purchase order entry and receipts
• Quarterly cycle counts
• Monthly reports as requested from management
